In the automobile manufacturing industry usually requires having quality detection not only on its appearance but also on the temperature distribution. In other circumstances, for example, steel production, there are also strongly requirements to determine the quality of steel forging process based on its surface temperature distribution. In food production process (e.g., brewage), the temperature of food strongly relates with the final favor and other quality; similarity, in cultivation industry, we need often to check routinely the health condition of livestock, poultry and etc., by analyzing their thermography in order to prevent the spread of diseases;

 

 

Existing problems and Task

In Industrial Automation, one of the most critical task is to take “non-contact temperature measurement” on the target object. This is because under most circumstances, even though it is allowed to attain thermography based on “contact temperature measurement”, the attrition rate of sensor is too high to make an economic solution.

 

There are some cases where the “infrared thermometers” are deployed; the problem is that in this case, only the average temperature of a small part of the surface can be process once a time. But under most industrial applications, we are required to attain the distribution graph of temperature simultaneously.

Solutions

In industrial detection sphere, you can mount the camera up on the bench or other fix place to align to the target objects. By several ways the signal (fiber, Ethernet or WiFi) will be transmitted and on the PC end, the thermography will be displayed on professional analytic software for further processing.
